The purpose of their visit was to get acquainted with the infrastructure and activities of the border guard educational institution, where junior personnel of the State Border Service is trained and personnel of the Service is retrained.

On December 16, First Deputy Head of the State Border Guard Service Volodymyr Nikiforenko, together with representatives of the Turkish delegation headed by Deputy Director General of the Main Security Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Erkan Gulveren and adviser on internal affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine Hikmet Ozmen, visited the Main Personnel Training Center.

The purpose of their visit was to get acquainted with the infrastructure and activities of the border guard educational institution, where junior personnel of the State Border Service is trained and personnel of the Service is retrained.

According to Vladimir Nikiforenko, the study visit will further expand cooperation in the field of personnel training and exchange of experience between agencies.

During the visit, the head of the educational institution introduced the delegation to certain components of the Center, in particular, where training on the use and operation of unmanned aircraft systems and countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction takes place, as well as military shooting ranges and other facilities.

For his part, Erkan Gulveren highly appreciated the results and achievements of the educational institution.
